Kayak Trip Reports
Aren’t overnight paddling trips awesome? I love the satisfaction of getting safely to my destination, enjoying the call of a loon on a pristine lake, and watching the stars in solitude away from the sounds and distractions of daily life.
My first overnight kayak trip was at Bon Echo Provincial Park in 2011, and since then my trips have grown longer and more remote. I love Algonquin Provincial Park for so many reasons, notably its remoteness, wildlife, scenery, and variety. I shy away from Algonquin’s typical Highway 60 access points and search for more obscure access points that offer more solitude. Do you have a suggestion for a trip that I might like?
